Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 5, 2026
At Arithmora, your privacy is fundamental to how we build and operate our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (and don't collect), how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to transparency and to protecting your personal information.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Arithmora is designed to be privacy-first. We want to be explicit about what we do not do:
- No personal data collection. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information to use our tools.
- No account system. There is no registration, login, or user account system. You can use all tools anonymously.
- No calculation data storage. All calculations are performed entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your inputs and results are never sent to our servers.
- Minimal cookies. We only use cookies required by Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. We do not use cookies for advertising or user profiling.
- Minimal analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, visitor counts, geographic regions). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- No advertising. We do not serve ads and do not share any data with advertising networks.
2. Information Automatically Collected by Hosting
Like all websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic connection information when you visit Arithmora. This is standard web server behavior and may include:
- Your IP address (anonymized in most configurations)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring URL
- Date and time of access
- Pages visited
This information is used solely for maintaining the security and performance of the Service. It is not used for user identification, profiling, or marketing. Server logs are automatically rotated and deleted on a regular schedule.
3. Local Storage and Browser Data
Arithmora may use your browser's local storage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode). This data:
- Is stored only on your device.
- Is never transmitted to our servers.
- Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
- Contains no personal or identifying information.
4. URL Parameters
Our tools use URL query parameters to preserve and share calculation states (for example,?mode=average&value=3). These parameters are visible in your browser address bar and in any links you choose to share. They do not contain personal information and are not logged or stored by our servers beyond standard access logs.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer any user information to third parties. Since we collect virtually no user data, there is nothing to share. We do not integrate with any third-party services that would have access to your usage data.
6. Children's Privacy
Arithmora does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect personal information from any users, this applies equally to all visitors regardless of age. Our tools are suitable for users of all ages.
7. Security
We take the security of our Service seriously. Arithmora is served over HTTPS, ensuring that all communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted. Since calculations run client-side, there is no server-side processing of user inputs, which significantly reduces the attack surface.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including but not limited to the GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations), you may have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you (in our case, none).
- Request deletion of any personal data (in our case, there is nothing to delete).
- Object to processing of personal data.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because Arithmora does not collect or store personal data, these rights are effectively pre-satisfied by our privacy-first design.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
10. Contact
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at [email protected].
