Quick Answer
Europe spans WET (UTC±0), CET (UTC+1), EET (UTC+2), and TRT/MSK (UTC+3).
European Time Zones Explained
Europe uses several time zones. WET/GMT (UTC±0) covers the UK, Ireland, Portugal, and Iceland. CET (UTC+1) covers most of continental Europe. EET (UTC+2) covers eastern European countries like Greece, Finland, and Romania. Turkey and Russia use UTC+3 year-round without DST.
Most EU countries observe daylight saving time (called "Summer Time"), switching clocks on the last Sunday of March and October. The EU has proposed ending this practice, but no final implementation date has been set.
